... Oh, that wasn't smog.  No matter this stuff doesn't need to be washed!

Someone has invented cloth that doesn't need to be washed, can kill viruses and bacteria, and clean up smog.

Because, you know, when I'm running around town, I'm always worried about deinococcus getting on my pants.  There's nothing worse than getting a bunch of cyanobacteria getting down your bathing suit.  Yepper, this is what the world needs!

Although the anti-smog properties look mildly interesting.  It might be nicer if it could shoot a laser at people who smoke in elevators and such.

At $10k a yard, it's probably not going to make it into the mainstream soon.
